Fogbound

Claire finds herself in her childhood home where she is forced to relive the traumas of her past caused by her abusive family through items that belonged to them

Fogbound was my third academic project and it was my first project where I had to create a videogame. We had to do a non-linear path experience and so we thought about a map where the player was bounded but in the same time would have felt free about his/her movement. While we were brainstorming we had this idea about the main character wandering in its house in search of answers about its future while thinking about its past.

Looking on the internet for references I ended up with a layout that helped my team to design the golden path.

I was the only one to work on the entire house so I dedicated 24 hours (8 hours per day) on the whole structure making first of all the structure (walls, floors and roof), then the enrichment of both floors and eventually the illumination.
